WHITE COMMISSURE

a group of myelinated fibers, both motor and sensory, which passes from one side of the spinal cord to the other side, connecting the descending and ascending stacks of white matter fibers on each side. It curves around the spinal cord’s ventral median fissure. Commonly referred to as anterior white commissure.
