TREATMENT AUDIT

a process which oversees and measures quality assurance in health care. Audit activities are inclusive of evaluation of the anatomy, process, and results of the services rendered. Audits happen in a cyclical manner, thereby permitting the outcome of the evaluation to be fed back to better or preserve the services evaluated.

TREATMENT AUDIT: “I think the treatment audit went very well; there’s no cause for concern.”
