THREAT

noun. 1. a condition which is typed as a threat to one’s self or well-being, or to a group. 2. a symptom of unfavorable consequences for failure to adhere to a delivered request or demand, utilized as a means of coercion. 3. any event, data, or feedback which is interpreted as implying negative data about the self.

THREAT: “The restraining order cannot be continued when there is no undue threat to the party.”
