THIAZIDE DIURETICS

a set of synthetic chemicals cultivated in the 1950’s and widely utilized as diuretics for the remediation of hypertension. Thiazides cause the excretion of nearly equal amounts of chloride and sodium with a joining amount of water, thereby decreasing blood pressure.
