PUBLIC RESIDENTIAL FACILITY

A residential facility operated, staffed and financed by the government. Usually referring to a larger institution such as a State Training School, a public residential facility could also be a smaller residential facility such as a half-way house for those returning to the general population after conditional release from prison.
