OVULATION

noun. the cultivation of a mature secondary oocyte and its dispersion from a graafian follicle upon the exterior surface of the ovary. Rupture of this follicle elicits the oocyte to be dispersed into a fallopian tube. In human beings, the oocyte grows into an ovum in the sole sense if it is invaded by a sperm during its trip within the fallopian tube.

OVULATION: “Symptoms of PMDD generally set in each month around the time of ovulation.”
