ORCHIDECTOMY

noun. the surgical removal of at least one of the testicles. It might be done whenever a testicle is damaged or infected, like whenever the male reproductive system has been impacted by cancer. It doesn’t always lead to impotence but might lessen the desire for sex. Orchidectomies done prior to pubescence can impact the growth of secondary male sexual traits. Commonly referred to as orchiectomy.

ORCHIDECTOMY: “We will have to perform an orchidectomy.”
