Oppositional-Defiant Disorder (ODD)

Oppositional-Defiant Disorder (ODD) is a syndrome that is diagnosed in children and teenagers that involves multiple negative attitudes and behaviors such as an ongoing pattern of anger, hostility, and extreme stubbornness and defiance towards authority figures that is beyond what is normally seen or expected in children and teens. This diagnosis is frequently used with children that present with Conduct Disorder, and is often a precursor to the adult diagnosis of Antisocial Personality Disorder.
