was first proposed by Charles Spearman who was a British psychologist that provided three laws of noegenesis: the apprehension of experience (by which new stimuli are encoded), the education of relations (by which the nature of relations between stimuli is inferred), and the education of correlates (by which a relation previously inferred is applied in a new context).
