NARCOANALYSIS

is a form of psychoanalysis where drugs which cause a semi hypnotic state are injected into the patient which allows the therapist or doctor to explore their feelings and repressed traumatic memories whilst the patient is in the semihyponotic state. It was first used in the 1940s.

NARCOANALYSIS: “The process of narcoanalysis involves inducing a semi-hypnotic state in the patient so that a therapist can explore their views unhindered.”
