MIRROR PHASE

is a set of development in young children usually between the ages of 6 and 18 months where the infant is able to recognize themselves in a mirror if presented with one and also imagine themselves as an autonomous ego in the image of the parent.

MIRROR PHASE: “Between the ages of 6 and 18 months, the mirror phase occurs from which point an infant should be able to recognize themselves in a mirror.”
