MIINSTERBERG, HUGO

(1863 – 1916) was a German born U.S. psychologist who earned his doctorate (Ph.D.) from the University of Leipzig in 1885 before then obtaining his medical degree from the University of Heidelberg in 1887. Hugo had a wide range of books published during his time practicing from On The Witness Stand in 1908, Psychotherapy in 1909 to The Photoplay in 1916. Hugo was an advocate for looking at lie detection, educational psychology, abnormal psychology and the psychology of motion pictures.
