MIILLER-LYER ILLUSION

first proposed by Franz Muller-Lyer, a German psychiatrist which says the difference of the length of a line depends on whether the arrowheads point upwards or away from each other.

MIILLER-LYER ILLUSION: “The Miller-Lyer illusion refers to the geometric illusion where lines with arrowheads are perceived to be of different length when they actually aren’t.”
