MEMORY SYSTEM

is any system which attempts to explain the process of memory retention and then (but not always) receiving memories from their respective stores. An example is the Working Memory Model and another is the Multistore Model of Memory which both imply different stores for memories.

MEMORY SYSTEM: “A memory system as a whole looks at the processes of internalizing information, encoding it and then retrieving the same information at a later date.”
