LIGHT ADAPTATION

a physical and chemical change which occurs in the eye of humans as a result of a change in the concentration of light. Most notably the constriction (in excess light) of the pupil or its dilation (in not enough light).

LIGHT ADAPTATION: “The dilation and constriction of a humans pupils is an example of light adaptation, in that in order to protect the retina, in well lit areas the pupil will constrict in size.”
