CREATIONISM

noun. 1. with regard to its most widespread sense, the stance that the universe was formed out of nothing by a higher power, in opposition to the stance that it became what it is sans any such phenomenon, or that it has been present always. While the majority of this viewpoint are of spiritual nature, not all are. 2. with regard to a more limited sense, a family of viewpoints which refute evolutionary concepts in preference of a literal approval of the Bible’s foretelling of creation, postulating that the world was indeed a creation of God in 6 days time and that every animal species was also by such.

CREATIONISM: “The creationism debate will probably always exist so long as people are allowed to maintain their own opinions.”
