BROADBENT, DONALD E

n. (1926-1993) Briitsh psychologist with a PhD from Cambridge University. A stint with the Royal Airforce during World War II triggered his interest in memory and perception as related to military communications. Three of his best-known works are Decision and Stress (1971), Behavior (1961), and Perception and Communication (1958).
