BEKESY AUDIOMETER

n. an instrument which detects and measures how well a person is able to hear. The first automatic audiometer was invented by Hungarian-born, U.S. psychologist Georg von Bekesy (1899-1972). It features an ink recorder to graph the record and patient-controlled push buttons to record responses.
