BEING-NOT BEING

n. a concept which paraphrases the fundamental question which most human beings are motivated to ask, that is, the express concern over dying and the worry of not being in the world any longer. First introduced by Martin Heidegger (1889-1976). See dasein.

BEING-NOT BEING: “Human as we are, we tend to contemplate on the fundamental, existential question of being-not being.”
