ATTENTION DISORDER

a disturbance characterized by an inability to maintain focus on an activity or difficulties taking notice of, responding to, or being aware of the behavior, demands, or requests of other people – for example, when daydreaming. Previously, this term was frequently used interchangeably with minimal brain dysfunction, as impairments in attention often reflect abnormalities in the brain. See also learning disability.

ATTENTION DISORDER: “A person with attention disorder may have difficulty sustaining attention on a particular idea, place, or stimuli.”
