ANASTASI, ANNE

Anne Anastasi won a National Medal of Science for her work and achievements. She was a vast contributor to the regions of psychology concerning assessments and individual attributes, primarily in the arenas of Differential psychology, Psychological Testing, and Fields of Applied Psychology. She also contributed to an article in the late 1950’s for the Psychology Review which is now viewed as a timeless piece in the field discussing the nature vs. nurture debate. Anastasi was voted into office as President of the American Psychological Association in the year 1972, becoming the very 1st woman to be in such a position since Margaret F. Washburn did in 1921
