American psychologist Gordon W. Allport- recipient of a Ph.D. in 1922 from Harvard University- a well-known founder of a specific theory of personality in which there are 3 classes of characteristics. Reference: Allport’s Personality Trait Principle. Allport as helped pen two other personality measures, those being the Allport-Vernon-Lindzey Study of Values, and the Allport AS Reaction Study. He was also a huge contributor to the department of social psychology, stressing the part outlooks and behavior played in one’s willingness to do something and providing vast theoretic donations to the analysis of prejudice
