ADRENORECEPTOR

noun. A receptive being that joins and reacts to norepinephrine and epinephrine too, though not as much. It behaves as a neurotransmitter in the SNS. Both alpha and beta receptors exist. Commonly referred to as adrenergic receptors and andrenoceptors.
