De NIH-CPSI1 is een schriftelijke vragenlijst voor mannen met chronische prostatitis of chronische pijn in het bekken om de ernst van de symptomen en de impact daarvan in kaart te brengen. Gevraagd wordt naar de klachten zoals die in de afgelopen week door de patiënt zijn ervaren. De lijst bevat 13 vragen in drie domeinen: pijn, mictie en kwaliteit van leven. Een hogere score duidt op meer klachten. De lijst is valide, betrouwbaar en responsief in het Engels en is vertaald, maar nog niet gevalideerd in het Nederlands.
