De DSFS-P meet de ernst en frequentie van speekselverlies bij Parkinson-patiënten. Het is een semi-quantitatieve toets die bestaat uit twee vragen (ernst en frequentie). Deze worden gescoord op een 5-puntsschaal (er zijn 5 mogelijke antwoorden, oplopend in gradatie).
