The Young Children’s Social Desirability Scale – YCSD was developed by L. H. Ford, B. M. Rubin (1970). It is designed to measure Social Desirability. The scale is intended for use with Young children.
Scale Structure

Response Format

Total scores range from 0 to 28. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Social Desirability (Honest Responding): 0 – 9
- Moderate Social Desirability: 10 – 18
