Scale Overview
The Workplace Trust Survey – WTS was developed by Connell, J., Ferres, N., & Travaglione, T. (2003). It is designed to measure Workplace Trust. The scale is intended for use with Working adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 35 items organized into 3 factors/subscales: Trust in Organization, Trust in Co-workers, Trust in Supervisor.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 7-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 7 = Strongly Agree).
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 35 to 245. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Workplace Trust: 35 – 105
- Moderate Workplace Trust: 106 – 175
- High Workplace Trust: 176 – 245
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Cronbach's alpha values typically range from 0.90 to 0.97 across subscales.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
