Scale Overview
The Work-Family Conflict and Family-Work Conflict Scales (WFC and FWC) was developed by Netemeyer, R. G., Boles, J. S., & McMurrian, R. (1996). It is designed to measure Work-Family Conflict and Family-Work Conflict. The scale is intended for use with Employed adults.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 7-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 7 = Strongly Agree).
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 5 to 35. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Conflict: 5 – 15
- Moderate Conflict: 16 – 25
- High Conflict: 26 – 35
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Cronbach's alpha ranged from .88 to .89 across subscales.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
