Scale Overview
The Wall Satisfaction Questionnaire – WSQ was developed by Victor D. Wall Jr. & Leland L. Nolan (1986). It is designed to measure Group Satisfaction. The scale is intended for use with Members of task-oriented groups or project teams.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 10 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Extreme dissatisfaction, 2 = Dissatisfaction, 3 = Slight dissatisfaction, 4 = Neutral, 5 = Slight satisfaction, 6 = Satisfaction, 7 = Extreme satisfaction.
The scale includes 6 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
Total scores range from 10 to 70. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Satisfaction: 10 – 29
- Moderate Satisfaction: 30 – 50
- High Satisfaction: 51 – 70
