Scale Overview
The Wagner Preference Inventory – WAPI II was developed by Rudolph F. Wagner, Kelly A. Wells (1985). It is designed to measure Hemispheric Cognitive Style. The scale is intended for use with Adults and adolescents.
Scale Structure

Total scores range from 0 to 12. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Preference: 0 – 3
- Moderate Preference: 4 – 7
- High Preference: 8 – 12
