The Valued Living Questionnaire Version 2 – VLQ-2 was developed by Kelly G. Wilson, Emily K. Sandoz, Jerry Kitchens, & Miguel E. Roberts (2010). It is designed to measure Valued living and consistency of values-directed action. The scale is intended for use with Adults.

Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = 1 (Not at all / Not active / Not satisfied / Not concerned), 2 = 2, 3 = 3, 4 = 4, 5 = 5, 6 = 6, 7 = 7, 8 = 8, 9 = 9, 10 = 10 (Very / Completely).
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 12 to 120. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Subscale Score: 12 – 47
- Moderate Subscale Score: 48 – 84
- High Subscale Score: 85 – 120
