Scale Overview
The Unwanted Pursuit Behavior Inventory – Offender (UPBI-O) was developed by Langhinrichsen-Rohling, J., Palarea, R. E., Cohen, J., & Rohling, M. L. (2000). It is designed to measure Unwanted pursuit behavior and stalking perpetration. The scale is intended for use with Adults post-breakup.

This instrument consists of 26 items organized into 2 factors/subscales: Mild Acts, Severe Acts.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 0 = Did not occur, 1 = Less than monthly, 2 = Monthly, 3 = Weekly, 4 = Daily, 5 = More than daily.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
