The Temperament and Personality Questionnaire – TPQ was developed by Gordon Parker & Marie Manicavasagar (2005). It is designed to measure Temperament and Personality Dimensions. The scale is intended for use with Adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 109 items organized into 10 factors/subscales: Anxious Worrying, Personal Reserve, Perfectionism, Irritability, Social Avoidance, Interpersonal Sensitivity, Self-criticism, Self-focused, Cooperativeness, Effectiveness.

Response Format

Response anchors: 0 = Not true at all, 1 = Slightly true, 2 = Moderately true, 3 = Very true.
The scale includes 16 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.

Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
