The Team Processes Survey Measure – TP-M was developed by Mathieu, J. E., Luciano, M. M., D’Innocenzo, L., Klock, E. A., & LePine, J. A. (2019). It is designed to measure Team Processes. The scale is intended for use with Work teams and organizational groups.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 30 items organized into 3 factors/subscales: Transition Processes, Action Processes, Interpersonal Processes.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Not at all, 2 = Very little, 3 = To some extent, 4 = To a high degree, 5 = To a very high degree.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 1 to 5. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Process Engagement: 1 – 2
- Moderate Process Engagement: 3 – 3
- High Process Engagement: 4 – 5
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Cronbach's Alpha = .66 to .94.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 6 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
