Scale Overview
The Srole’s Anomia Scale was developed by Leo Srole (1956). It is designed to measure Anomia. The scale is intended for use with General adult population.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 9 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 0 = Disagree, 1 = Can't decide, 2 = Agree.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
Total scores range from 0 to 18. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Anomia: 0 – 6
- Moderate Anomia: 7 – 12
- High Anomia: 13 – 18
