Scale Overview
The Spouse Sobriety Influence Inventory – SSII was developed by Thomas, Yoshioka, & Ager (1993). It is designed to measure Spouse enabling and drinking control behaviors. The scale is intended for use with Spouses or partners of individuals with alcohol use issues.

This instrument consists of 52 items organized into 2 factors/subscales: Sobriety Support Scale, Drink Control Scale.

Response Format

Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
