Scale Overview
The Sociocultural Attitudes Towards Appearance Scale-3 – Internalization-General Subscale (SATAQ-3-I-G) was developed by J. Kevin Thompson, Patricia van den Berg, Margaret Roehrig, Angela S. Guarda, & Leslie J. Heinberg (2004). It is designed to measure Sociocultural attitudes towards appearance and internalization of media ideals. - Moderate Internalization: 19 – 31
- High Internalization: 32 – 45
