Scale Overview
The Social Interactions Behavior Inventory – Child Version (SIBI-C) was developed by Winnie Wing Sum Chung (2012). It is designed to measure Social interactions and behaviors. The scale is intended for use with Children (specifically designed for children with High-Functioning Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome).
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 25 items organized into 4 factors/subscales: At School, After School, At Home, Peer Interactions.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 0 = No, 1 = Not really, 2 = Sometimes, 3 = Often, 4 = A lot.
The scale includes 6 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.

Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Not specified.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
