Scale Overview
The Social and Emotional Resources Inventory – Revised (SERI) was developed by Danielle Mohr, L. A. Shirley, L. A. Rosén (2012). It is designed to measure Childhood protective factors and resilience resources. The scale is intended for use with Adults (retrospective).
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 80 items organized into 16 factors/subscales: Intelligence, Parenting Practices, Parent Connections, Self-Esteem, Money, Resources, Faith, Talent, Good Schools, Prosocial Adults, Kin Connections, Prosocial Organizations, Coping, Temperament, Parental Expectations, Neighborhood Safety.

Total scores range from 80 to 400. Interpretation guidelines:
Low Resources: 80 – 186
Moderate Resources: 187 – 293
High Resources: 294 – 400
