Scale Overview
The Sexual Victimization of College Women Scale – SVCW was developed by Belknap, J. B., Fisher, B. S., & Cullen, F. T. (1999). It is designed to measure Sexual Victimization. The scale is intended for use with College women.

Respondents rate each item using a dichotomous Yes/No format.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
Total scores range from 0 to 11. Interpretation guidelines:
- No Victimization Reported: 0 – 0
- Victimization Reported: 1 – 11
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
