The Self-Reported Delinquency Scale (SRDS) was developed by Thornberry, T. P., Krohn, M. D., Lizotte, A. J., Smith, C. A., & Tobin, K. (2003). It is designed to measure Delinquency and Antisocial Behavior. The scale is intended for use with Adolescents and young adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 36 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a dichotomous Yes/No format.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
Total scores range from 0 to 36. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Delinquency: 0 – 2
- Moderate Delinquency: 3 – 10
- High Delinquency: 11 – 36
