Scale Overview
The Revised Subjective Stress Scale – RSSS was developed by Mitchell M. Berkun, Hilton M. Bialek, Richard P. Kern, Kan Yagi (1962). It is designed to measure Subjective Stress. The scale is intended for use with Adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 14 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Best describes my feelings, 0 = Does not describe my feelings.
The scale includes 5 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
