Scale Overview
The Recovery Oriented Systems Indicators Measure – ROSI was developed by Jeanne M. Dumont, Priscilla Ridgway, Steven J. Onken, Susan Dornan, Ruth O. Ralph (2005). It is designed to measure Recovery-oriented mental health systems. The scale is intended for use with Adults receiving mental health or substance abuse services.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Never/Rarely, 2 = Sometimes, 3 = Often, 4 = Almost Always/Always, N/A = Does not apply to me.

Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 44 to 176. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Recovery Orientation: 44 – 88
- Moderate Recovery Orientation: 89 – 132
- High Recovery Orientation: 133 – 176
