Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Strongly Agree (Items 1-6), 2 = Disagree (Items 1-6), 3 = Somewhat disagree (Items 1-6), 4 = Somewhat agree (Items 1-6), 5 = Agree (Items 1-6), 6 = Strongly agree (Items 1-6), -1 = Someone other than child provided aid (Items 7-17), 0 = No need for aid in this area (Items 7-17), +1 = One of my children provided aid (Items 7-17).
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
