Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 30 items organized into 5 factors/subscales: Supervisory Support, Accuracy, Process Control, Justification, Bias Suppression.
| Factor / Subscale | Items | N |
|---|---|---|
| Supervisory Support | 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 | 9 |

| Process Control | 17,18,19,20,21,22 | 6 |
| Justification | 23,24,25,26 | 4 |
| Bias Suppression | 27,28,29,30 | 4 |
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Not at all accurate, 2 = Slightly accurate, 3 = Moderately accurate, 4 = Mostly accurate, 5 = Very accurate.
The scale includes 2 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Supervisory support: .92, Accuracy: .96, Justification: .91, Bias suppression: .81, Process control: .92.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
