Scale Overview

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Several times a day, 2 = Once a day, 3 = A few times a week, 4 = Once a week, 5 = A few times a month, 6 = Once a month, 7 = Less than once a month, 8 = Never.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
Total scores range from 4 to 32. Interpretation guidelines:
- High frequency of private religious practices: 4 – 12
- Moderate frequency of private religious practices: 13 – 24
- Low frequency of private religious practices: 25 – 32
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 2 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
