Scale Overview
The Mode Values Inventory – MVI was developed by V. A. Braithwaite & H. G. Law (1985). It is designed to measure Human Values. The scale is intended for use with Adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 51 items organized into 10 factors/subscales: A Positive Orientation to Others, Competence and Effectiveness, Propriety in Dress and Manners, Religious Commitment, Assertiveness, Withdrawal From Others, Carefreeness, Honesty, Thriftiness, Getting Ahead.

High overall value alignment / strong acceptance of values: 256 – 357
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Alpha ranges from 0.59 to 0.89 across subscales.
Administration
