Scale Overview
The Mathtech Behavior Inventory – Communication Frequency Subscale (MBI-CFS) was developed by Douglas Kirby (1984). It is designed to measure Adolescent sexual communication frequency. The scale is intended for use with Adolescents.

Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Test-retest reliability coefficients range from .69 to .83.

The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
