The Male Role Norms Inventory-Revised (MRNI-R) was developed by Ronald F. Levant, Richmond, Cook, et al. (Adaptation by Daniel K. McKelvey) (2007). It is designed to measure Traditional Masculinity Ideology. The scale is intended for use with Adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 53 items organized into 7 factors/subscales: Avoidance of Femininity, Negativity Toward Sexual Minorities, Self-Reliance Through Mechanical Skills, Dominance, Restrictive Emotionality, Toughness, Importance of Sex.
