The Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Identity Scale – Revised (LGBIS-R) was developed by Jonathan J. Mohr, Mark S. Kendra (2011). It is designed to measure LGB Identity. The scale is intended for use with Lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals.

Response anchors: 1 = Disagree Strongly, 2 = Disagree, 3 = Disagree Somewhat, 4 = Neutral / Undecided, 5 = Agree Somewhat, 6 = Agree, 7 = Agree Strongly.
The scale includes 2 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 1 to 7. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Subscale Score: 1 – 2
- Moderate Subscale Score: 3 – 5
- High Subscale Score: 6 – 7
